This piece is waxed with a cold medium wax used to seal watercolors when it is desired to NOT use glass when framing. It is still recommended to avoid overly moist environments as well as to not hang in a spot that gets a lot of direct sunlight.
I made a discover over the summer and that was that the quality of the watercolor canvases had drastically improved since the last time that I had used them.
